From which date my new CPE certificate will be valid?

Even though a candidate can take up CPE programme 12 months prior to certificate validity date, the new validity date is extended for 3 years from next day of expiry of existing certificate. Example: If certificate validity is up to 31st Dec. 2012, then after successful completion of 2 day CPE programme on or before 31st Dec. 2012, certificate will be revalidated for 3 years from 1 Jan. 2013.

However if a candidate revalidates his/her certificate by appearing for the underlying NISM Certification Examination, such certificates will be revalidated for a period of 3 years from the date of examination. Example: If certificate validity is up to 31st Dec. 2012, then after successfully passing the underlying NISM Certification Examination on say, 20th Dec 2012, certificate will be revalidated for 3 years from the exam date i.e upto 19th Dec 2015.
